Hastings District Libraries is proud to present a fabulous lineup for Pride Month!
We have Pride Movie Nights running on Thursday nights (18th & 25th of February & 4th & 11th of March), starting at 5:00pm. Come along to Hastings War Memorial Library to watch a different film featuring LGBT+ characters each Thursday night at 5.00pm during our Pride month. All films rated M. Recommended 16+.
There are also two Rainbow Storytimes, both on 24 February.
We also have a LGBTFQIA+ Poetry Slam on Saturday 27th February! Motif Poetry and Hastings Library are excited to present a special, one-off, free Pride Poetry Slam right here in the Bay! Hosted by UK Slam Champion Sara Hirsch and featuring wordsmiths from around Hawke's Bay, this will be spoken word at its biggest and best. This is a ticketed event with limited number of seats, so get in quick for your chance to see!
